ok. i cannot stand people who drive too fast and follow too close. then when they are past you they are tapping the brakes for that same reason. brake lights go on, everyone thinks "i must brake also"... has anyone else noticed this?...

My neck is sore and for some reason so is my left thumb.

And my local (one of them) deserves a mention. I have been in there a few times to try fix my headset problem, only to later to find out that because I have a Trek, for some reason the sizing where the bottom cups would go is a lot smaller then usual, we were wondering what the problem was, and after a phone call to Trek, they couldn't help me (they are not a Trek dealer), and basically came arrogant ***** and more or less implied that I wasted their time, as if I were meant to know what the problem was. No **** I didn't, and if I knew what it was, I would never have gone in there. The manager went out of his way to help me, and I thanked him for it, but then he said under his breath that it cost them a lot of time. GAGFC. I doubt I will be spending any money in there ever again.

Come to Australia, all you will get is heat and more heat. How about 47oC or about 118oF. Fun... I love the cold weather though...

Two weeks ago I was working 100km north of cloncurry in Queensland. I know all about that sort of weather.

Things that annoy me:
- Slow drivers in the fast lane
- Drivers not using their indicators (flashers) when turning
- Discourteous drivers (ie, no thank you wave when you let them in)
- Baby on Board bumper stickers (should this really excuse their poor driving skills just because they have a baby in the car?)
- Shopping malls. Full stop (or period).
- Dim covered most of my pedestrian issues in an earlier post, but pedestrians with an inconsistent pace, pedestrians suddenly stopping, pedestrians not walking on the appropriate side of the sidewalk (left in Australia and right in North America), and especially congested pedestrian areas (such as the shopping districts of NYC recently during Black Friday).
- A group of pedestrians walking in the opposite direction not making way for you (what makes it right that a group walking two or more abreast will not make room for a single person walking in the opposite direction)
- Discourteous people (ie, no thank you when you hold a door open for them, etc)
- Window shopping
- Window shopping expeditions that involve visiting antique stores
- Lazy people
- Line jumpers
- Shoppers with more than 8 items in the 8 item or less lane at the supermarket
- Shoppers that reach the checkout and then decide they need another item and delay everyone behind them
- Poor planners, especially in regards to town planners because there are very few well designed towns and cities
- Politicians (or at least the political system) - too shortsighted with no real consideration for implementing long-term projects because this does not serve their immediate ambitions for re-election
- Intolerant people (ha, is that me?)

I also get annoyed by every one of those people.

The first few ones about drivers are especially annoying. Surely that means the problem's on my end and I just get antsy far more often than I have the right to :p

I guess George Carlin's old joke is quite true

"Have you ever noticed how everyone driving slower than you is an idiot and everyone driving faster than you is a moron?"

I love getting stuck behind someone on the freeway doing 45 mph,we both exit at the same place and they get on a road marked 25mph and they fly at 45mph:eek::mad:.
Seems like their gas pedal is stuck in the 45mph mode.

Contador

I have to say worse people cutting into my lane without signaling and slowing down while speaking on cell phone. 9 times out of 10 their car is sporting a fish symbol designating their special relationship with Jesus.

My thought is the J-man or Christ or savior was not so clueless as those rude Christians.

Umm, I just accidentally forwarded an email from a friend to a Washington DC Sightseeing Company's email address. I took my daughter there in the spring.

The email was saying how sunglasses are now bigger than bikinis, and had a bunch of pics of girls basically wearing dental floss.

Well that's pretty dumb, but not as bad as the fact that you haven't put 'em up on Babes On Bikes yet.

I'm not sure how to post pictures. PM me how to do it or PM your email address and I will send them to you for you to post.

I'm not sure why I posted this, since it is not really a complaint. I guess my complaint is that gmail doesn't seem to have a recall feature like outlook.

People who don't use their turn signals drive me nuts. As do people who turn the signal on as they are turning. I already know you are turning, why do you need to start telling me then?

Susan

its the people who use indicators and dont turn that get to me..

car coming down road, indicating left so you pull out and he has to jam on his breaks not to wipe you out, and then looks at you like youre an idiot..

In the states that would be your fault if a wreck occured. How about in the UK?

On topic, I'm tired of this fricking weather. Cold and overcast again today in Houston.
