Interestingly, he also adds that he will prepare for TDU next year, where he surely will be one of the big favorites.

Last year Sky forced EBH to do a 4 week training camp in Mallorca (instead of skiing back home) so I doubt that will be a problem. I'm more worried that he will peak far too early because he usually hits peak form after just 1 week of racing (it's all a part of britain's evil conspiracy to make sure he's not in form for the olympics ).just some guy said:Unless it is a snowy and really cold winter here is Scandinavia which they are predicting then it will be a training race.
Retire as the world champion TT? With an Olympic medal up for grabs next year? Same goes for Teutenberg, who should be Germany's leader in the road race.Libertine Seguros said:Wouldn't be surprised if Arndt retires; she's the wrong side of 35 now. Teutenberg likewise, if she won't be part of it, but no reports on that to date.

Yes, that's what I meant. Indeed, that's why he's going to TDU and long training camps in Mallorca instead, because it seems like skiing plus cycling in extremely cold weather has caused his achilles problems.JRanton said:What, like every other Team Sky rider you mean? I think he gets more than enough special treatment already and I doubt his love of skiing is particularly helpful when it comes to his recurring achilles problem.

You seem sarcastic, which is quite weird, considering I totally agree
