Luckily they still have Flecha, EBH, Stannard, Hayman as a top 4, which isn't bad at all, but Thomas in there just makes that squad look so much more dangerous. EBH has to stay healthy now.

Probably Eisel too.

If Wiggins doesn't ride the team pursuit, which seems quite likely, then how much of a chance do people think GB has of beating the Aussies in London? From what I've seen on the track recently it would be a very small chance indeed. It seems like Thomas could ride the classics and the TDF and still end up with the same colour medal if he didn't do either of them. A silver medal.

The problem Cav has is that he's probably having a bit of a joke, but because of his previous wrt being a total idiot then having to retract or justify statements later, people are just looking at what's been said and thinking "yup, Cavendish is saying stupid things again" rather than taking his (sometimes very good, other times childish and spiteful) sense of humour and who he's talking to into account.

He's by far the funniest rider on twitter, although there isn't a huge amount of competition for that title, and the "it was like coming home to hear your girlfriend tell you she's leaving you" thing fits exactly with his sense of humour. But it's also the sort of thing that can be taken out of context very easily.

There are lots of silly things I could believe Cavendish doing or saying, but slagging off Renshaw in earnest isn't one of them. Taking the mickey on the other hand...

At least five of those riders are from De Rosa-Ceramica Flaminia. Just a coincidence or something is happening to the team?

Edit: Never mind. stupid me.

There's some rather dubious names in there, Clinic wise.
