The UCI are responsible for many sins, but Contador and Valverde getting themselves suspended was not the fault of the UCI. Indeed, there's a certain amount of suspicion that had it not been for certain media leaks, the UCI might have preferred a less than zealous approach to the Contador case.

In any case, whining about how unfair it is that someone got suspended is doping just as much as giving out that someone is allowed to race and does not belong in this forum.

That's not what it is about, we just want to see whatever UCI representive's face when they congratulate the winner that is a filthy little doper.

yellow helmets for the team classification leader at the Tour?

A good idea in my opinion.
The yellow race numbers may be somewhat visible to the riders (if the guy is riding in front of you), but almost invisible on TV. Yellow helmets would give the team leading the classification a distinctive "jersey".

I'm wondering what the teams' helmet sponsors will think of this - but if you can bring (or make overnight) a yellow helmet for the maillot jaune, you should be able to do the same for nine riders instead of just one.

http://www.steephill.tv/2012/strade-bianche/photos/page-01/#560-PIC262816942.jpg Some great photo of Strade Bianche here. I got reminded last night, as watch the last 12k, that Fabian Cancellara can still smash the competition albeit this is a 1.2 race or something like that. That aside, these pictures capture the essence of bicycle racing.

The big guy is very lean in the face. I'd watch out on him.
