No wonder the numbers here are thinning out. The stench is deafening.
2.1? Like I said, I've only one eye on it and that half closed.::D

Nothing wrong with winning a crit, especially for a small team like Endura. Some people here just like to be a **** though.

Strade Bianche is a 1.1 race I think, but that doesn't matter. We all know how to value a win in such a race. It ranks pretty high :) Not quite at the same level as the Omloop het Volk yet, but it's getting there. And the Omloop is more prestigious than some WT events ;)

Seems Post Danmark rundt 2012 will be the same like always you know - one medium difficult stage plus a 14.5 km TT and the last stage in copenhagen.

RIP Maurice De Muer (1921-2012)

Second in Paris-Nice 1946. Former Ocaña DS.

Thévenet said "For him, there were no small races. He prepared each race with the same dedication."

Cavendish should think this over.

Can't say I mind too much. They're getting around to my part of the country again! :D (Same procedure as every year!)

But as someone on a Danish site's FB page said Southern and Western part of Jutland does seem to be slightly forgotten about.
Not to mention they could make a true climbing-stage on Bornholm...

Well at least the NetApp Giro team will be fractionally better. I thought Wyss had signed for Atlas though?

The Norwegian May races could be a good show, they've got good team line-ups at least.

Glava Tour per 8.3: Team Sky, Team Saxo Bank, GreenEDGE, Garmin-Barracuda, Lotto-Belisol, Lampre-ISD, Caja Rural, RusVelo, Topsport Vlaanderen-Mercator, Joker Merida, Team Cykelcity, Endura Racing, Christina Watches-Onfone.

Rogaland Grand Prix: GreenEDGE, Garmin-Barracuda, Lotto-Belisol, Lampre-ISD, Caja Rural, Team Øster Hus-Ridley.

Hmmm, someone's going to have to explain to me how NetApp have got around the fact that he'd already signed (and raced for) another team this season. Yet when there were Garzelli -> Saxo Bank rumours, we were all under the impression that such a transfer couldn't go through before August?

Probably got something to do with atlas's status (as continental i assume)

Mutual consent, other team terminates contract, NetApp buy out existing contract, Wyss buys out existing contract and NetApp pick him up 'off waivers'... quite a few mid-season team changes go on, but most of the time it's picking up people who come on the cheap from Continental teams to replace suspended or injured riders, or people without a pro ride. Giampaolo Caruso, for example, rode for Ceramica Flaminia until 10/4/10, then signed for Katyusha and rode Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Romandie and the Giro within a month.

Wyss was with Atlas Personal-Jakroo. That's a low level Continental team, and NetApp could probably buy that contract out pretty easily. Especially if their race calendar wasn't looking too strong and the money NetApp provided them with could help them out in that respect. They probably got Wyss at lower than market value because of the Geox collapse anyway, so it's no skin off their nose to make what is probably a profit out of the deal.
