Yes, they have the best sprinter now. However, this year they were largely invisible in the grand tours. Unlike Sky in the classics.

Yeah, but Sky has no Flecha now. We're talking about 2013, not 2012.

Rome wasn't built in a day.

Sky's classic's squad will most likely skip P-N and T-A this year. I'm not sure if that's a good idea to be honest. I can't remember any M-SR winners who didn't ride T-A or P-N...

their preparation will be the top though, don't doubt the science

the man who will humiliate tommeke and fabian in 2013 cobbles classics, remember my words:

uran is a top hilly classics rider. he also came in 2nd in olympics, which is a classic every 4 years imo and 3rd in lombardy this year. also henao will be top next year in the hills as well. he already showed tremendous promise

Fair enough, but I don't think they mean Uran with their classic team. At least I hope so, because I'd like to see Uran in T-A or P-N and later in Pais Vasco.

uran prefers catalunya and the classics to those races. henao might try pais vasco. race suits him

Rome wasn't built in a day. However, I think it was built faster than Quickstep's GC team ;)

Why bother failing at overall GC of GTs when you can win everything else. ;)

Why bother having a mediocre cavalry when you can crush them with a powerful infantry? ;)

Any idea who that is?

An Aussie who rides for GreenEdge would be my guess.

EDIT: I think it is Adam Hansen (Lotto), 'cause if his room mate is JVDB then it matches with the *name* doping part.

So I think it is the room mate of JVDB, and since it is an Aussie site, my guess is Adam Hansen.

If that's true, he's wrong about Vandenbrouck, but that's a clinic story.

Anyway, stupid story. Here we go again, the good teams are all English-speaking so nothing to see here. Stupid xenophobe reasoning, bashing the Russians in the process. Hello Mr. anonymous, who was the biggest doper of the last decade-and-a-half?

On that Australian site it says that he "He has raced multiple Grand Tours, Classics and World Championships, and finished highly in some." That would rule out Hansen.

Anyway, I think this deserves its own thread... in the Clinic.

He has ridden the following grand tours:
GdI: '07, '08, '10, '12.
TdF: '08, '10, '12.
VaE: '07, '09, '11, '12.

He has also ridden MSR and PR a couple of times, and won Ster Elektrotoer. But ofc it is only a guess. :)

Yeah, but he didn't "finish highly" in any GT, classic or WC. Maybe they just put that in there to throw the readers off, though. :notsure:

Yes, but the mystery rider is referring to another rider so Hansen could still be the rider as the blog does not say he finished high in GT's, Classics and WC's.
