Mount Etna erupted today.

Will this cause some complications for the next Giro?

Don't think so. Etna is constantly an active volcano (the most active in Europe) and sometimes it has its moments when it decides to erupt. It happens every once in a a while and usually doesn't last that long. The eruptions usually aren't very intensive (ie. about 1/100 the power of the Iceland volcano in 2010) but the lava can obviously be very deadly. Zomegan had contingency plans ready in 2011 and I'm sure Vegni does now, too.
Not looking good for the mountain right now

Luckily they aren't riding the Giro right now.

Anyone know where to find them Pais Vasco profiles
They aren't out yet I think
Really? Some posters seem to know it already, or is Netserk omniscient?
The route is out, I think, just not the profiles. There is a rather long ITT I believe, around 25km, which would be bad for Henao. Maybe that is what's on Netserk's mind.

I saw the ITT profile done by some third party when the route was announced but I don't think that the profile is 100% official (albeit it should be very precise). In the official website the only profile that it's up is of the stage to Arrate.

One week before the race? I mean, we know that the route will be hilly and mountainous as usual and there will be a finishing time trial, but releasing the profiles only one week before is pretty amateurish

The Arrate stage will be like it usually is, so weaker than last year. The TT will of course be hilly, but on the "flatter" side, from what I've seen:

No other uphill finishes, so I expect Henao to drag Kwiatkowski around ;)

I haven't heard any news to that effect. I'm quite sure he'll ride Itzulia and then Ardennes.

From what I've read they will do Arrate from the hardest side like in last year's itt. That's 5,1k @ 8,3% with two kilometers @ 13%. We will see Igeldo and Vivero as last climbs before a fast downhill to the finish. The climb in the itt looks good too.

Good and long time trial. Valv will have a hard time beating Conta here.

Primoz is my secret favourite.

100th Giro will have a surprise for the points jersey. Maybe different colour, probably different sponsor.

See-through? :p
Hey, us ladies wants something nice to look at. Though, in all fairness, pro riders' pale upper-bodies doesn't really qualify as "something nice"...
