Last year Quickstep, Trek, DSM, Jumbo, and Lotto rode (and Qhubeka, but let's stick to teams that exist...)

Sidenote: even with 8 WT teams, they could theoretically still make a national team of only WT riders. I don't think they will, though.

I only mentioned other teams than those Velolover2 had already listed.

I also doubt the national team will bemade up of only WT riders. Some of them will presumably be riding the Vuelta instead.

And between the three of us, and PCS, we've reached 8.

There's also the whole thing of using the national team to give the young riders a chance to show themselves.

It doesn't say in the link that the Vejle stage will be the final of the race.
I'm pretty sure it is. Vejle municipality has an oral agreement with the race management until 2022.

1700 m of climbing is hard to place elsewhere in the country unless you turn it into a loop.

PCS also list EF and UAE, but I don't know how reliable that is. Lotto, ISN and Wanty could be candidates as well.
If you go to their personal homepages, EF and Trek have the race on their calendar but for some odd reason both teams list it as a race with 6 stages.

The Vuelta gets it right with having the TTT early, usually on day one, because it mixes up the race early and the teams need to strategize, though on this forum it’s been discussed a lot so I’ll leave it at that.

I think UCI implemented a rule a few years back that TTTs have to be early (I think no later than stage 4 or 5 in GTs), after the TdF had a TTT on stage 9 back in 2015, and a few teams had already lost riders, most particular Orica, who were already down by three.

Interesting stage. Everyone and his grandma climbing better than Dumoulin. Leknessund showing signs of life, Masnada showing why he should be leader in every race he starts. Arensman somewhat disappointing. Almeida doesn't seem to have found his mojo yet at UAE, not even on par with Majka. Plapp and Ganna were colossal.

But not really relevant for the Tour de l'Avenir, though (or Tour of Denmark for that matter). :p

Got hit by the "multiple-tabs situation"?

If Plapp does ride he could be a contender for top 10 in Tour de l’Avenir if todays performance is indicative of his mountain abilities, the TTT issue could hold him up, as I don’t know many other Aussie youngsters other than him.
