I would be surprised if they use him on TV from the beginning. Also, don't forget they (probably) have Henrik Jul for the Tour so all bases are covered.

Hopefully. I always think that, though, and then there he is again, popping up in the studio when the Tour comes around.

If I understand correctly, though, the studio will be in France this year, which makes it less likely that he will be there, I guess.

I'm of course not familiar with Danish media, but to fit any journalistic standards and to make it readable for a broader audience, they would probably need to cut it to 20% at most.

Hmm, so SD Worx has called a press conference at short notice for tomorrow, whilst all their riders are off riding nationals, with some apparently 'spectacular and surprising news...'

That's definitely a surprise, cause it seemed like she was burned out and quite happy and relieved when she retired. Of course she had also had to continue for one year longer than initially planned due to the postponement of the Tokyo Olympics. It'll be exciting to see what she'll be able to achieve. It could also potentially lead to some even weirder team dynamics though. Since Majerus is retiring and Van der Broek-Blaak is expected to become a DS, plus the future of Cecchini is unknown, then the team could also be in need of a very experienced rider.

AVV is a similar rider to Vollering, though Vollering is a better climber, while AVV is a better classics rider. What I find interesting is that SD Worx could not afford, Vollering, yet, AVV will not come cheap.

Weirdly Katie's own account is she dislocated her ankle, broke her tib & fib, and tore a bunch of ligaments.

Hopefully those putting her back together know the difference between a broken ankle and a broken leg.

I always thought she retired too early. She did some other things like coaching and gravel bike, because she was tired of the road cycling routine. She might still come back at a high level.

And I don't disagree, but she retired because she was spent in terms of motivation and energy

She might well come back at a high level but I'm not sure what she achieves from it, unless to prove she retired too soon
