How?
Van Hooydonck retired last year.
PL was pretty clearly referring to Nathan's uncle.

Would that not be an excellent reason for having them the other way around? Leave 5 days to get over Roubaix for Limburg, Give 4 days so there is some rest between Brabant and Amstel.I think they do it like this because Tour of Limburg will have cobbles and be closer to Roubaix, and Brabantse closer to AGR in race type.
There was another one?
How was that clearly? Wouldn't it make more sense to think of the more recent one first?
If someone talked about Van der Poel, you wouldn't think they were talking about Adrie...
The fact that he was listed first in a sentence about the good old days should probably have given you a clue of where we were timewise, or at the very least about where we weren't.
Which is why I was a little confused about the mention of Van Hooydonck.
I'm not keeping track of every random uncle...
My random uncles aren‘t two-time Flanders winners, so you‘re free to not keep track of them.Which is why I was a little confused about the mention of Van Hooydonck.

No.How about your aunts then? Is one of them Judith Arndt?
Ah, that did not occur to me. My bad.
Terrible decision. But at least they can perhaps come to their senses and reverse course later.
That "another one" is significantly more successful than Nathan so perhaps Nathan should be the other one 😅.

And was active, when?
Yes, exactly the same time as Museeuw who was mentioned in the same sentence.
Again, that's what confused me:
The seemingly mention of a much more recent guy among a bunch of oldtimers...
Especially since "Uncle" Van Hooydonck does not exactly get brought up frequently...
Because, apparently, the money wasn't good enough.Pogacar and Vingegaard can relax again. Blummenfelt ditches his cycling plans: https://velo.outsideonline.com/road...esses-pause-on-project-to-win-tour-de-france/
If today is the deadline for proving adequate funding is in place for teams renewing their UCI licence for next year, should we be expecting some clarification on ChinAstana any moment now?
At least Blummenfelt's coach will now work in cycling. Olav Aleksander Bu becomes head coach for Uno-X.Because, apparently, the money wasn't good enough.
Or maybe cycling teams, which are probably capable of paying a salary that would bring any triathlete running (after swimming and cycling) weren't interested in offering him a contract.
