Deutschland Tour 2025

Horrible route, but at least it features my hometown - for the first time since 2006.

from the Italian BDC-Forum

"From my insiders in the peloton came the news of a young Italian rider who was kicked out of a Devo world tour team (one of the most important) because he stole Garmins and shoes that he then resold. To finish the season he will move to an Italian continental, not even one of the best (and where there is nothing to steal ...). I will not name names for decency"

I guess the new team operates on a concept of bring your own shoes, bike, clothes and food. Only water is provided.

There's not really anything decent about the poster's action though. It will possibly not be too hard to guess the identity now that the information is out there, but at worst someone who is innocent will come under attack.

there are dozens of Italian riders in the WT devo teams. it will just need to check the Italian conti teams on procyclingstats* and see which rider has a contract "from ../../2025"

*not yet updated

I wish the team will expose him and make him apologize at least as much as Simmons had to, and that was for a tweet, not for stealing (that's against the actual law)
yes, I know, I know... sorry

Sure, he should either have provided the name or kept it vague.

Is that the case? A lot of people at that age choose money now over possible future rewards.
There's a difference between choosing money now and outright criminality. And setting that aside, being in the JV development setup means you should have both more money now and better career prospects than most people your age.

Belletta had made little to no progress for two years tbh, maybe played a part in it.

They are young, don’t have the experience and intelligence of someone that has more years on their belt
Do they get paid that much either ?

I mean the men's team is probably different as i think there are UCI rules on that, but if it were a womens development team they'd get expenses for travelling at most.

And alot sell kit and stuff post season, eBay or the procyclingkitsales are your friend if youre looking, obviously to boost their income.
