+1 what's he on about as there's nothing on Cav's Twitter & I've not seen anything in the public domain apart from what he's written himself.

They were never good friends with no love lost between them as Henderson slagged him off when he followed Greipel to lotto years ago and takes any opportunity now to have a go.

maybe Cav sent a wrong text message or a private message on twitter, and he sent it to Greg instead.

He clearly states that Cav sent him a private message so it's no surprise you can't see it... Apparantly Cavendish sent him a message about his racing manners in combination with his private life, which wouldn't surprise me as Cavendish is a xenophobic bigot.

Evidence, or libel?

Read his book, he said that Colombians do not belong in the euro peloton because they don't have the same skills. He also punched Soler because he dared to interfere with the sprint (i.e. stay out of trouble till the last 3km).

This is coming from someone who liked Cavendish until I learned about this.

The only good thing I can say about Cavendish is that he is an excellent sprinter. The rest is unprintable and his interviews bore me to tears.

Oh the Cav BS brigade are out again, as has been said before Greg is disliked by most of the peleton, Cav is also a dad himself and I doubt very much he would bring that into it.

I've seen articles and reports where most of the Aussie team (especially Porte), Froome, Cav and a lot of Cav's old HTC guys that didn't join Lotto have all showed their dissatisfaction towards Greg. You also get a hunch from years of watching the sport which riders are liked and disliked too.

Must be quite weird for him being teammates with one of the 'Colombian superstars'.
Surely he won't claim that Uran "doesn't have the skills" to ride in the European peloton. Not to mention a guy like Quintana.

Cav's old "HTC" guys like Sieberg, Hansen, Bak, Greipel, Reynes? More have been through LTB than not. Eisel? Doubt Goss and Renshaw have a problem with him unless its a chip from their days on the track.

You keep bringing up quotes from a book written 5 years ago when Colombians weren't thought to be be as good as they are today. Although today they are still only credited as good mountain men and not in the melee of sprint finishes which is all he's concerned about.
