I think having broadcast at the same time would be possible, but the interest would obviously be very limited. Only some hardcore fans will watch a stream of an early part of the women's race while the men's one is in its decisive phase.

The way it is now is not ideal, but I think ASO was fairly open about it being for financial reasons. They are a private company afterall, so eventhough they are the richest of all, it's somewhat understandable that they need to limit losses. And there's basically no doubt that all women's races come with loads of those.

It wouldn't be a problem if they could figure out a way to actually give us more coverage than around 90 minutes.
Maybe even broadcast both races at the same time - yes, I know this would require a lot of cameras - when something happens in the men's race; show that, when something happens in the women's race; show that, utilise split-screens when necessary.
To keep it less confusing, they could use colour-coding like they've done for the last few years when showing the U23 and Junior (men's) races together on YouTube.
BTW, are they still doing that? Or will that be one more thing lost by the decision to move the women's race to Sunday?
Lol, absolutely not!

Using split screens like that would be absolutely horrible, yes. No way. 95% of the viewers only care about the men's race so doing something like that would just make the product a lot worse
