Nah - Evans is no different to other elite athletes - They are driven individuals who live in their ' own bubble ' which at times may be to the detriment of others - For example, Cavendish's middle name is ' problems ' - Resolve one problem and then quickly another problem occurs - This is the nature of the beast.

You don't really seem to get it. Evans is just annoying AF.

Lots of annoying pros. Wiggo, Cav, Nibali, Sagan, yee gads, Sagan!!, even Lemond in his day, Hinault, Fignon(may he RIP).

When he was bad yeah, but when he was good he was a sight to behold (Waseberg 2003!), the 2nd is true, don't know much about the 3rd

Indurain might not have been one to whine but he annoys the hell out of me for reasons that we can't discuss in this section of the forum. To say he was "god like" is a fair as his "god like" abilities were as based in reality as the whole god theory in general

The race was scheduled for early february. Didn't they know this a little bit earlier because now this will definitely f*** up the plans for many teams. This is as if the uci announces that the dauphine will be cancelled, just before the giro.

Tour of Qatar would have been the first or second race of the season for some riders - The only saving grace is because it was a first time WT race it may only affect around 10 WT teams.

A strange situation - Qatar held the World Championship in October and there were no murmurings the race could be in doubt.

It's no a bad race, it's just that the the Tour of Qatar was something unique, plain flat and still such a hard race, crosswinds in the desert.
Oman is a nice pre/early season stage race, but it's not as uniqe and special.
