So, he started swerving before crashing, definitely means he had the heart attack before the crash. Belgian legislation has been adapted since last year, the parents can request for an autopsy.

Sporza said:

Basically a board of doctors also want to know what is going wrong. They suspect some doctors are not screening correctly, and that a small percentage is not diagnosed with a heart condition.

Sporza just posted that they probably will stream the last lap of 15 km of GP Vermarc Sport. From what I'm reading it's quite an exciting race up until now.

What i find equally worrying, is that there won't be an autopsy, because there were no strange circumstances. As if one after the other 20 year old dropping dead with a heart attack, isn't enough.

A rider who witnessed the accident, said he went off course for no apparent reason. So, it's very likely he crashed due to a heart attack, and not the other way around.
That is insane

20 year olds aren't supposed to just drop dead.

Medical screening should be tighter than before, why does it seem like more young riders are dying

Looks like they're finally going to try and get to the bottom of this. They don't want to wait for it to happen again.

MSR 2020 route announced

The Milan-Sanremo takes place on the classic route that in the last 110 years has connected Milan with the Riviera di Ponente through Pavia, Ovada, the Turchino Pass to descend on Genova Voltri. From there we proceed westward through Varazze, Savona, Albenga to Imperia and San Lorenzo al Mare where, after the classic sequence of the Chiefs (Mele, Cervo and Berta), the two climbs entered in the last decades face each other: Cipressa (1982) and Poggio di Sanremo (1961). The Cipressa measures 5.6 km at an average gradient of 4.1% and has a very technical descent that takes you back to the SS1 Aurelia.

Too bad there seems to be no coverage over Tirreno Adriatico on Eurosport. The amount of talent in there is equivalent to TDF in my opinion. Also finally a rider from Finland is there so extra interest.

You need to write a stern message to your local ES people.
