You're aware that the Tour is in July? And that most of the distance in these stages is not in England?
This is england. Its either cold and wet or just cold. Our summer lasts for one week. Which is a good job because its either too hot or too hot and wet.

Anyway, stage one of the 2014 tour - who remembers froome finishing 6th in the bunch sprint?

From someone who used to live in Carlisle (mad that it is finishing there), to now living in Cardiff. You might as well call it the tour de me.

I understand the sentiment. It was quite surreal to have the Giro start and finish in Horsens where I have lived throughout my childhood...

This sounds a bit like when Danes complain about how it's always raining in Denmark when in fact it doesn't rain that often...

Although it's a nice few stages, the Welsh stage is a bit disappointing that they don't do either The Tumble, which is the most famous climb in Wales, with a great history in British Cycling. They also avoid Llangynidr Mountain as well, so the biggest and most well known climbs in Wales are being avoided.

Bwlch y Groes is harder than the Tumble, though i accept out of the way and not realistic.
