I don't know, haven't had them tested. But changing trainers is quite common when things are going badly. Particularly when said trainer has no education and no logical connections with the sport.

Nordhaug was following approximately the same training program as Edvald before he started working with Julich, and he has obviously improved massively this season. So logic dictates that changing trainer indeed could make a difference.

Great, i'd hate to see Sammy retire without a GT under his belt, he has a great shot at the giro normally, especially if there's a good downhill finish and the TTT isn't too long

Edvald Boasson Hagen has finally ended his cooperation with his former personal trainer, Fredrik Mohn. A goldsmith with no real connections to cycling doesn't exactly sound like an ideal fit for a talent like Edvald, so Sky has finally forced him to get one of their trainers instead after a disappointing classic's season. It is not yet known who will be his new trainer, but I'm definitely hoping for Julich!

There's some creepy guy on here named "Dominic Krynicki" who has copy pasted what I wrote here and posted it on Sky's facebook...and it's not the first time. Seriously, stop copying my posts dude!

...back on topic: Edvald's new main trainer will be Tim Kerrison, who also has been training Wiggins this season with great success. Ellingsworth, Arvesen and Julich will also be involved.

He has indicated before, without being asked for it (to a general question what would you still like to do in your career question), that he wants to ride the Giro though.

Still, you're right, this answer is far from a guarantee.

man that's great...i was also talking to other people about a little dirty dream...the dream of edvald boasson hagen dropping 8 kilos this summer and then killing everyone on the mountains...he will be a perfect machine,remember collet d'allevard in the dauphine?basso:"i never saw something like this"...if julich and kerrison can't do that,nobody can.
i always imagined eddy more than a guy for the classics,we'll have to wait and see

The EBH news is good. Kerrison is a very, very sharp brain. Certainly between him, Julich, and Ellingworth they've had a lot of recent success with the likes of Cav, Wiggo, Nordhaug, Froome.

Definitely worth a shot.

With Coppel and Jeandesboz for overall, both of whom looked good last year and of course the 2 heroes from Dunkirk it looks like a good team so far.
Question is wiill it be another matter of getting guys in the break or maybe something more... tbh I cant see any of these guys getting a stage win.

Could definitely see Simon grabbing a stage, he's had a brilliant season. If they ride for GC then Coppel and Jeandesboz will just be invisible for 11th-20th.

Pretty surpricing that Marino is certain already.

I guess B. Feillu, Levarlet, Mederel, Le Lay, Mangel and Galland are the most likely to fight for the 3 remaining spots. I would have thought all of those were ahead of Marino though.

Anyways not that bad a team with J. Simon and Coppel and some good breakaway guys. So fair enough they got their Tour-ticket.
