Usual rumors from Rai's Radiocorsa;

-Tour de France 2014 would start in Venice's main square Piazza San Marco, with a prologue. The start would be made for the 90th anniversary of Bottecchia victory at Tour. They would then move to Bergamo for honor Gimondi's.

-Nibali seems set to sign for Astana during the first rest day of Tour de France, but Radioshack is in talk as Bruyneel seems to be ending his relationship with Schlecks brothers. In the 2nd case, Frank and Andy might end to Astana.

So if Astana can sign both Shlecks, will they sigh Nibali too?

Or the Rettenbachferner, that stage was insane in 2005 :)

It's Fundacion Euskadi, Euskaltel is a public company and the news is only about the company staying as sponsors. Nothing about the Fundacion and an all basque squad. But very good news indeed:)

Didn't Rebbelin win that race last year? Would be cool if Pellizotti did this year

Spanish team for the olympics.

Road race: Oscar Freire, Alejandro Valverde, Samuel Sánchez, José Joaquín Rojas and Luis León Sánchez
TT: Samuel Sánchez and Luis León Sánchez

What.A.Team.

4/5 of those riders can potentially win. Freire has to be big favourite alongside Boonen and Sagan for this.

It's a fantastic team, but perhaps too many egos? If all of them believe they can win, then none of them will do much work...

Hopefully they'll try to light things up at Box Hill and then try setting up the sprint for Freire if things come back together. In theory this team is more than strong enough to make life very miserable for Cavendish...I just hope that they will utilize that chance.

Yes rebellin won it and he will try to defend it this year.

LOL, didn't even realize his team was riding it.
Looking at the startlist (crappy inaccurate one on cyclingfever) it seems like a pretty strong field actually.

Gaspa,Kiserlovski, Pozzato, Kolobnev, Pozzovivo all riding. Sort of surprised that there's Betancur, Garzelli or DiLuca aren't riding for A&S

Wouldn't that be just awesome if either one of them wins it. Would certainly make Aquarone look even more dumb for not inviting them.

Did the Italian federation reverse their ruling on not allowing riders caught for doping to compete in the national championships though? If so I must have missed it

according to Twitter Betancur will start tomorrow

OK, good. That startlist they have up on cyclingfever.com really sucks

MM ftw and and then I'll straight away create the Moser Legend Thread which will be converted to a Moser Discussion Thread.
