And its funny to see Sagan there cause in Paris he said he wouldnt do any crit cause he doesnt care of money and wanted to fully concentrate on the Olympic preparation.

Probably he didnt read well the paycheck. :D

Maybe he's found out that he has to buy his own porsche ;)

Gesink in Spits newspaper says coming back late from altitude camp just before Suisse ultimately cost him the TdSuisse victory (like duh, he dropped a minute there and finished at 20+ seconds in the end). Says he will do things differently next year.

I think Gesink finally realizes it's better to win some WT-races and finish 8th in the tour (or crash out) than to win nothing all year and finish 4th (hello Jurgen Vdb)

I hope he'll decide to skip the classics for the rest of his career, he's only wasting his spring peaking for them.
The 3rd place in Amstel may have delayed his career, because at Rabo they probably thought he was a potential winner.
If he'd peaked in early april in 2011, he would have already won the Tirreno and Pais Vasco.
I hope Kelderman will do the same. If you want to win the Tour someday, you'll first have to show that you can bring a leader's jersey home.

Maybe this year was worth doing that though? No Contador or Andy Schleck there, 2012 could end up having been his best chance to win the tour. Not sure how much difference the one or two days extra he spent at altitude would have made if he had stayed upright in the tour though.

Davide Martinelli will be joining sky as a stagiaire for the remainder of the season. Btw davide is the one in my avatar...if i had known he was gonna sign for sky i would not have used him :p :D ...i need to send him an email or dm on twitter :D :p

No Lombardia? Who will lead Liquigas now that Nibali is leaving?

Will be interesting to see Moser in lombardia, that's for sure. Not sure if he'll be leader though, I guess Nibali will still race unless Liquigas pulls a JV/Radioshack move on him.

Obviously a race calender aimed to win the WT ranking.

Already way better than 2012's route.

Elgoibar-Elgoibar should be pretty difficult - unless they come direct from the coast or straight through Eibar (which I don't expect as they're using that on stage 4) this will probably be a descent into the finish. The second stage should be the typical sprint type stage into Gasteiz that we're used to; the third stage is an MTF. The name suggests they'll be going from the Trapagaran side:

Though I suspect it may be even better if they do it from the Muskiz side:

Stage 4 is Arrate, which we are all familiar with. Stage 5 looks like it will probably end shortly after the base of the descent of Santa Ageda:

Maybe with a smaller climb around Ormaiztegi and Mutiloa, or a circuit around climbing up the smaller climb of Santa Marina de Aztiria:

which would be about 8km out.

Then you have the ITT which is a bit longer than this year to reflect the route.
