I had to go ambient. Insufferable commentators.
Eurosport. Mielke and Lund.Rolf and Ritter!?
I think Lund has done fine when you don't have a Dane in front like today. I don't like Mielke the least bit.Yeah, I freaking hate Nicki Sørensen and Anders Lund as commentators, so hard to me to choose. Mielke I don't have the biggest problem with, altho he's a hypeboy, and I don't really like hypeboys as commentators either
Impressive win, extremely impressive even. Obviously in his best shape of his life, but that doesn't mean that he can follow Mathieu or Pogacar on Sunday, because he won't and he can't, still too big, so has to get lucky or play his cards extremely well somehow.
Sadly we all just know that this will mean he'll pull like a truck with Pogacar and MVDP as if his he's the Danish Merckx only to be dropped by a minute like a hot potato on Kwaremont.Hopefully this doesn't give him the confidence to start pulling with big favourites next week, sit on and shake your head like Simon Gerrans Mads!!!
At the same time he is stronger in a long race. That said, Trek need to play the numbers game and send Styven, Milan, Vacek and similar riders on the attack while Pedersen marks the favourites and doesn't collaborate with them.Yeah, I freaking hate Nicki Sørensen and Anders Lund as commentators, so hard to me to choose. Sometimes it feels like people want the commentators to have no positive reaction when their countryman wins. Why does that not surprise me?
I have a very hard time understanding how one can have that opinion but if someone did, of course it would be you. He is good at so many things about the job, but I guess too enthusiastic for you?
I think he considers it a win after his nasty fall / injury / stitches in his knee last week?Weird to see SQS congratulating Merlier like he won something…
Yes, you can call it that. Always posing, presenting, hyping. Why does that not surprise me?

Did they know Mads was ahead ? Cause the rest of the peloton acted like he wasn’t…Quickstep big celebration with all the lads!

Quick Step was one of the teams actually working, and there are basically nothing they could’ve done better. Merlier was one of the last riders who made it over Kemmelberg in the last group who regained contact. I find no issues with them being happy of scoring the best possible result for themparticipation trophy culture
Thanks, I get it, but still. Couple thanks and move on. Ya got trounced and didn’t chase. It’s weird to me.I think he considers it a win after his nasty fall / injury / stitches in his knee last week?
He was never in contention but still ended up second, so much better than hoped.
AFAIR, a COW is greather than a GOAT?
