Sasre is a tour winner. Menchov has only 1 giro win and 1 (or 2 if u want) vuelta win.

So menchov has two gt wins, sastre has 1 and you could argue sastres was in a very week year.

i think sastre is possibly a bit more sponsor friendly.

I was just being sarcastic, on the fact that for most, winning a tour has much more weight in your palmares than the other GTs.

Regarding Sastre, when they said 2M and 1.4M as Sastre and Menchov's salaries respectively, i don't think that include sponsoring.
I think it's because Sastre has more years of experience.

To my mind, this is even more worrying than the Pegasus situation.
These sponsors were further down the commitment line, but quite possibly will still take their millions and run.
Pat's cock a maimy concept is actually making the team/rider situation more unstable and volatile.

As for Gianetti being a tool and an embarrassment to the sport, who has to go, while Bruyneel reaps the benefit at a knock down price.
Could there be anything more ironic?

update

The team was due to make its official debut at the Tour of San Luis in Argentina but will now make a more low-profile debut at the GP degli Etruschi race in Italy. The team has not been invited to the Tour Down Under.

Géé that's a downgrade

According to recent reports in Gazzetta dello Sport, Geox is trying to wrestle control of the team Gianetti makes it clear the sponsors were aware of the risks of not securing a ProTeam licence.
