Haven't heard what he saidSorry to bother those who speak Italian with these questions, but what was Contador saying about the French fans after he conceded (sincerely or not I dont know) that the Italian fans are good.

Descender said:Honestly, this is the worst Giro route in recent years.
The first two weeks are plain awful. Basically boring flat sprinters stages or boring easy mountain stages, where everything will be decided in the last kms.
And the last week has two great stages, Cortina and Pampeago, but the last mountain stage is very badly designed, I doubt anything of significance will happen on the Mortirolo and there's too much flat between it and the Stelvio.
And last but not least, the TT kms is a major joke... I give it a 3/10.

Is that really all we can do for decently designed mountain stages in a Giro d'Italia?
It looks like "medium mountains" is the byword for 2012. They've realised that this year was overkill on the MTFs, so rather than balance it out with some more TT kilometrage and mountain stages without MTFs, they've decided to not increase the TT distance, and neuter the mountain stages. The first week is truly awful, even the Tour has given us more of interest than that.
Looks like 2012 could be a garbage year for GTs, Zomegnan was fired to make room for this junk?
