They shouldn't be waiting. They can't neutralize Umbrail.

If they had slowed for 300 meters....
What happened to the classic respect the leaders jersey has always received from his opponents
Once again Movistar (though I know Bahrain and Zakarin are as much to blame) show their lack of sportsmanship.

Next minute riders will be pulling over to take a dump so they can have a 5 minute rest at the bottom of the final climb. You have to draw a line.

Nice tactics by Domoulin. Neutralize the climb by letting the other teams wait for him the whole climb.

Are you watching how Dumoulin is pedaling? There is no waiting for him, he's sick as a dog.

Giro never fail to surprise me. Last year Kreuskwijk crashed. Now, Dumoulin had to do nature break on the wrong time. I can't believe it how this could be how he will loose his time.. Wow.
They attacked while he was on a nature break?

he took a *** on the side of the road at the start of umbrail...

I left to drive to work, what the hell happened?

Tom D. had to pull over, strip off his jersey and bibs to take an emergency dump. Looked like a 911 situation, aka diarrhea situation to me. The camera cut away quickly but he is now 1 minute down. Looks like he has major GI distress.

Well, all isn't lost yet. But the steep part is coming I believe?
He's finished. Even if he somehow limits losses today, he'll get destroyed in the next few days. Especially so if he's got the s***s.

This. And the pace is very slow anyways.
Dumo will probably keep his pink.

It can happen in the future. Never rule it out
