Horrible situation for Big Tom but I don't know what Quintana was supposed to have done. Tom needs to limit losses and keep the gap to less than 3 minutes if possible. I think he will now lose the Giro today though as the other main GC main have still kept their powder dry for the last climb.
Nairo should pass him toilet paper.
Tom should have asked Pozzovivo for a pair of brown shorts. :D

Katusha, Bahrain, and Movistar will have to watch out for dutch fans trying to *** in their buses after this.

There's still a chance (albeit small) that Dumo is not sick and this Giro will not be completely boring...
If he is, then it will likely be Quintana (non)show... attack in last 500m in every stage, no action elsewhere.

Dumoulin won't have easy time on the descent with Nibali at the front.

And how much is he going to pay tomorrow and the day after for this effort?

They should not have gone full stop, too dangerous with Kruijswijk and co in front. Perfectly understandable. I'm not mad.

Just surprised the Giro is lost in such stupid way again. Of any way too lose, getting the *** is the most surreal.

It really doesn't seem like Dumoulin is ill. No way he'd be able to keep the gap mostly stable if he were.

Disappointing from Kruijswijk. Just doesn't have it this year - shouldnt be getting dropped by Hirt.

Lol at all these newly registered members blaming Movistar for this.

It's like as if this the first time they've ever watched a GT.
