Dumoulin won't have easy time on the descent with Nibali at the front.

And how much is he going to pay tomorrow and the day after for this effort?
If it was just a cold from the descent, he should be able to recover fast.

It really doesn't seem like Dumoulin is ill. No way he'd be able to keep the gap mostly stable if he were.
If that's true than taking a nature break at that moment was pretty arrogant and rather stupid.

Jungels made it back to the second group, nice ride today. If he keeps that up it will be very hard for Yates to take the white.

I guess the one bit of 'good' news is that this isn't the first time this happened to Tom. He actually had to go into the camper of some dutch fans in last years TDF. So best case this is just a one off thing for him and not a sign of illness.
Maybe it's a sign that during GTs he is very vulnerable to illness (a bit like TJ) because it just stresses his body too much.

This...ok for a week , 10 days but when its a thrid week of mountains stages then the low weight is a problem

Tom shows true sportsmanship. No sticky bottles at all. Nibbles should learn.
I saw him getting pushed by car similarly to Nibali a few years back when he got dsq.

Video? That is some serious *** if he actually did that? I didn't see anything.

Morten Bennekou, DS at Sunweb, just told Danish Eurosport that Dumoulin was not ill before the stage.

It's not just whether he has an illness or not though, it's how hard he has had to dig for this last half an hour. While the other favourites haven't really been going at their limit all day. He'll surely pay for it in the next days.

Maybe not ill per se. Extreme fatigue induced by a GT can mess a persons endocrine system, which sometimes results in stomach issues.

Lol at all these newly registered members blaming Movistar for this.

It's like as if this the first time they've ever watched a GT.

Exactly. Movistar do this at every chance they get, not just this GT. (Though they've been exceptional this GT)

He wasn't ill before the stage according to his DS.

That was before Tend Dam set the pace for him for a few hundred meters. Still that wasn't really comparable to what Nibali do at the Vuelta.

Quintana can't be too strong when he's being this passive.
I think he's just focused on Nibali now. Dumoulin is surely going to be finished off in the next few days. And he's got a decent advantage to Nibali, so no need to be overly aggressive.
