Landa barely losing time to the favourites is really impressive! Really a shame that he crashed! He would've been spectacular.

Quintana can't be too strong when he's being this passive.
I think he's just focused on Nibali now. Dumoulin is surely going to be finished off in the next few days. And he's got a decent advantage to Nibali, so no need to be overly aggressive.
yes, moreover he's thinking about winning the giro fairly comfortably to save more power for the tour.

A lot of "everything that has transpired has done so according to my design" going on here

People are looking too much into Dumoulin's 'incident.' He's actually climbing really, really well alone. If he was sick, he would've cracked a while ago
It's just the effort he's put in. There were already huge question marks about his recovery in multi-mountain stages - let alone five in the last week. Impossible to see him not cracking big time now in one of the coming days.

It really doesn't seem like Dumoulin is ill. No way he'd be able to keep the gap mostly stable if he were.
If that's true than taking a nature break at that moment was pretty arrogant and rather stupid.

Looks that way, naive/stupid more than anything else, if he isn't ill.

Seriously if you have to go really bad no way you can still provide the power necessary. He might not have had a choice and yet be fine now.

Lol at all these newly registered members blaming Movistar for this.

It's like as if this the first time they've ever watched a GT.

Exactly. Movistar do this at every chance they get, not just this GT. (Though they've been exceptional this GT)

And so do every other team.

I have my opinion which I have made pretty clear.
However, it is clear the forum, and cycling world, is split. I am ready to acknowledge that that both opinions are valid, I just think one is wrong.
You, however, are accusing all people (of which there are clearly many)who have a different opinion to you as if this is the first time they have watched a GT

The asian I have probably watched alot more gt's than you, Movistar is a team without sportsmanship and has always been.

Torn. Nairo waited. But he just couldn't let Nibali go either. And he can't neutralize the entire last climb of the Queen stage.

He should've at least remonstrated a little more with Nibali, TBH. But hey, easy enough to write that from my desk.
