They shouldn't be waiting. They can't neutralize Umbrail.

If they had slowed for 300 meters....
What happened to the classic respect the leaders jersey has always received from his opponents
Once again Movistar (though I know Bahrain and Zakarin are as much to blame) show their lack of sportsmanship.
Are you watching how Dumoulin is pedaling? There is no waiting for him, he's sick as a dog.

Are you even watching the race or are you just a Nibali-fanboy deluxe? Tom hasn't lost any time to the leaders the last 10 minutes..

so does that mean everyone is just riding tempo and let Dumo catch up? not really drilling to drop him?

What were they supposed to do? Not follow Zakarin or Bahrain when they set the pace?

Nairo has the authority to neutralize the race for a minute
Not sure he does when Kruijswijk is gaining time on Zakarin and others up the road. It's a tough situation. Dumoulin really should have done his businesses well before the last climb started.

So what do you want??

The Queen stage to be neutralized because the race leader had to piss??

This will be quite a tactic as lesser climbers can fake these situations and try to neutralize clims.

This is a race not a *** charity ride.

Movistar didn't atatck anyway. Quintana just followed wheels.

If Quintana stopped, went back and cleaned up the poop Dumoulin had left on the ground, people on this forum would still call him classless for not wiping Dumoulin's ass.

To be fair it wasn't a mere piss. It was a heavy duty ***

Horrible situation for Big Tom but I don't know what Quintana was supposed to have done. Tom needs to limit losses and keep the gap to less than 3 minutes if possible. I think he will now lose the Giro today though as the other main GC main have still kept their powder dry for the last climb.

Yep, if he isn't ill, it's an unbelievable thing to do. As if they would wait for him.

Nibali is a 4 time GT senior of the peleton. Why is he escaping critique ?

Why the *** should he??

You really are an irrational lot

In all fairness and I'm dutch. Race situation is completely different than when they waited for Quintana, unfortunately for Tom.
They did wait and Movistar didnt take initiative. First Zakarin attacked and then they held back for a minute, but you could see the confusion.... We want to wait for him, but at this point in the race we cant really wait and then Pellizotti started pulling.

It sucks, it really does.

they should have waited till Tom D got back to the group

I guess the one bit of 'good' news is that this isn't the first time this happened to Tom. He actually had to go into the camper of some dutch fans in last years TDF. So best case this is just a one off thing for him and not a sign of illness.

If Quintana is a leader he stops all the leaders to wait on Tom Dumoulin, but he didn't he expected somebody would attack so he had a excuse, but he's simply a rider without moral. Lance Armstrong has more sportsmanship than Nairo Quintana and that says alot.
