Once again, we have a demonstartion of how a peloton at full speed can get time over even a large group in a short distance. Over 40 km, they got the advantage down from 11 minutes to less than 6

Costa chasing down his teammate. Nothing new under the sun here.

He never ws a team player. I hate Costa. How many times have i seen him not contributing to a break, and then win in in the end because he contributed nothing. In French we say he sucks wheels .

Rolland in initial break. Went back to the group. Recovered. Now dropped them in style. Very impressive.

I don't like Rolland, but this victory is well deserved.

I like him. But, i never bought into teh next great French riders. He has little strategic sense and never got good enough in TT . He is the French TVG.

I like Romain Bardet and Julian Alaphillipe way more.

Epic fail by UAE. Costa was always favourite for the win in that kind of sprint, and they burnt out his helpers doing loads of pointless work and attacks.

That never was a stage i thought a sprinter would win. And i expected the winner to come from a break. Never thought it would be such a huge group though.
