Pinot is back in the race thanks to Quintana and Nibali.
I very much doubt Nibali nor Quintana cares about finishing 2nd, 3rd of 51st.

You know what. Pinot cares about finishing second or third. And he might help Tom finish first along the way.

Why on earth should Nibali and Quintana pull even 10 meters for TomD?
Do you understand cycling people?
They both race for 1st place.

why should he pull, he has no other rivals other than these two  they should be putting pressure on him, not him

I think Quintana does, and Movistar do in generally. He dug really deep last year in the Tour to claim 3rd. Nibali probably not so much.

Because he was sick most of the tour

Today was "the day" to break Tom. Neither Nibs, nor Quintana can drop him. And by looking at tomorrow's profile, the last climb actually suits Tom like a glove.

Bottom line: unless he has another stomach upset issue, I'm saying Tom is set to win Il Giro.

Actually if Nibali/Quintana want to win this is even a better situation.
Good luck controlling this:

1 Tom Dumoulin (Ned) Team Sunweb 80:00:48
2 Nairo Quintana (Col) Movistar Team 0:00:31
3 Vincenzo Nibali (Ita) Bahrain-Merida 0:01:12
4 Thibaut Pinot (Fra) FDJ 0:01:36
5 Ilnur Zakarin (Rus) Katusha-Alpecin 0:01:58
6 Domenico Pozzovivo (Ita) AG2R La Mondiale 0:02:07
