Dumoulin is my favorite for this stage. I think he's the strongest climber and he would probably like to show that and get a non-ITT stage win.

He already has one.
Moreover, he already has non-ITT stage wins in all 3 GTs during his career.

If Quintana was Contador I would expect him to put 3 team-mates in a breakaway and then go all-out on penultimate climb and try to bridge across. But somehow I don't believe Quintana will do this.

Nibali could try to do the same. He has a better chance because he could potentially drop others on a descent.
Quintana tried that yesterday and all it did was Dumoulin closing the gap himself on the climb itself. It doesn't matter if he can't actually hold a gap. He can attack and gain 20 seconds. But then he loses it within 1km. Can't seem to hold pace. And his teammates aren't strong enough to go supersonic

Yup, team tactics are only useful if your leader is strong enough to execute them.
And I've got a feeling that Quintana really isn't up to it in this Giro... He's got that stone-cold poker face that makes it look like he's never suffering, but in the last week he's been showing signs of weakness:
1) His boomerang attack on Oropa - dangling out front for a few kms then losing 20secs to Dumoulin
2) His amateurish crash on the descent of the Stelvio
3) The next day almost crashing himself off the bike by throwing a bottle away and missing not placing his hand back on his bars!
4) His weak attacks on the final climb yesterday

All of this, to me, points to excessive physical and mental fatigue. A bit like in the tour last year. Perhaps I'll be proven wrong, but I don't think he'll challenge for this Giro and could well fall off the podium...
