I think the tricky finale can provide some surprises. There will be opportunists who will try to do something, and perhaps even one or two of the GC contenders may attack. Yes the Blockhaus is the very next day, but surely someone will try do something besides wait for the high mountain stages!?!
Nope.

I don't just mean tomorrow's non-high mountain stage, I meant for all of them. Ok, maybe not the sprinter friendly terrain, but what about semi-tough stages?

I dont get why Woods didnt do a Rolland today and just finish 10 minutes down. He wont be allowed in the breakaway now so I have no idea how Cannondale wants to approach this as it is.
I don't think they will chase him down hard. Even if they do they still have some good cards to play in the reduced sprint to the finish.

There's two more of those left. One will be soft pedalled seeing how the Giro is going so far, and the stage into Bergamo doesn't allow for that much fun because they decided to take out the hardest passes of the Giro di Lombardia.

It would be nice to see some decent breakaway with f.e. Hansen, Rolland, Anacona or so.
Really quiet hope that Landa may want to push on that finishing mur ;)

Landa to push what? He has no chance on this finish.

I'm fairly certain that other riders wouldn't be happy to ride with Woods in the same breakaway on a stage like this and it wouldn't work out well for him.

Cannondale, Cannondale, Cannondale.

Pick one from the team.
It would be really amusing (and not entirely shocking) if they come away from the Giro with no wins...

Actually, I feel the opposite. I would find it quite shocking if they somehow managed to get a stage win because they are the last WT team that I would expect to win so it would be more amusing if they actually got a win.

There is no hope ... (Formolo is their only hope but we all know that he needs to change teams to flourish)

With blockhaus tomorrow...

Wiggly last kms - no less then 2 180 hairpins in the last km - wow!
More than 2000 hairpins in one km - crazy Italians!
#lame
That should be read as 2 180 degree ...
If a hairpin is 180 degrees and there are 2 180 of them in the last km that means the peloton's accumulated change of angle is 392 400 degrees. That's assuming there are only hairpins

The section after the cat 4 climb before the unclassified climb of Coppa del Fornaro is relatively flat. The strong time triallers / rouleurs in the break will drop the others in this section to win alone. Martin and Cummings not here. Suggest some names.
