Pogacar is moving a lot his shoulders. Fortunately for him this is the Giro.

I'm not gonna lie. I expected a bigger gap from Pogacar against this field on Monte Grappa. At least 3 minutes. 1 min and 20 s is not that high against this riders. Probably the watts were low.
Yes and no.

I did expect at least 2 minutes.

I don’t know why Martinez wouldn’t help pull in this situation -unless he doesn’t have much left

Now it's just about staying upright. Ordinarily I'd expect the Thomas group to catch the Martínez group on a long descent like this, but with the short sharp climb in the middle of the descent they'll need to make the junction before that you'd say. Tiberi is really pushing on.

Didnt get that impression from your posts since you been downplaying Pog and UAE throughout the thread.

Please explain and show us where you expected this. We would all like to learn more.

I'm not gonna look for it, but I clearly remember RedRick indicating numerous times how superior Pogacar was in this race. Not that it's all positive posting sure, but I don't see any denial or underestimation.
