How can he get away with this!

I think the jersey and the shorts look good and work well together, the helmet is mandatory so whatever, but the shades are what makes Pog look like he came out of a superhero action figure package. (Or a Ken doll package, as some have recently mentioned he resembles Ken.) I think it's just too much!

Well anyhoo, time to turn on the TV for this sprint stage, Jakobsen for the win! (Eh, I'm allowed to dream, yeah? :p)

What a joke , ban anyone outside the top 20, where's Marco frapporti and Simon pellaud. Our sport is dying

Lol, you always hear about how the Giro stages in the 1980's were ridden at 28 kph in a gruppo compatto until the helicopters got in the air for the final hour, yet of course the sport is dying today when nobody wants to attack.

There simply was no live coverage until 80 kilometres to go. Apart from the big mountain stages and Flanders & Roubaix.

Nobody really needs full coverage actually. Most times it would be fine enough to start the coverage 15.30 / 15.00. It's also not really improving the commentary when they have to waffle around for 5 hours.

Agreed but it's ridiculous to be bitching and whining about it as if it's something new. Especially the 'cycling is dying' thing when it was exactly like this 40 years ago.

I mean in the end we are the ones who watch flat stags from 150 - 100 kilometres to. Because cycling for us is like a big cinema movie. So we only have to blame ourselves for creating a cycling overkill.

But yeah. If absolutely nobody intends to go into the breakaway at all, it's mildly frustrating as well.

That would be terrible. Think about dabbling around at home listening to the constant chattering from two commentators in the studio and the extras brought in as experts plus several others out on the course, basically commenting on everything from the scenery, the course, each hill, previous and coming races, each miniscule movement in the peloton, all of the teams and the riders minute material choices and race prep etc etc. This going on for hours while you enjoy your espresso looking busy trying to keep up. Can't imagine anything better!

I like to see the formation of and or control of the breaks, but honestly after that, it's all dudes with dicks out peeing along the side of of the road for the first half of a race.
