It was like 2.5km and the gap was 30s. It was the right move and there was nothing wrong with it. The weakest guy does the least, and tries to win. It's fair. It's was just a bit too much, he started not helping so long out, that it was just wrong. Sometimes you play the game to hard for people to like you.
Well, yeah, Thomas is a much better cyclist. And leech off all the work of someone else and deprive Thomas of a first WT win in his career.
I enjoyed his ride. Inferior riders should always play it this way otherwise they would never stand a chance.Didn't expect people to be so annoyed with Pietrobon - he's a PCT rider without a career win against a multiple time track world champion and Valgren. Of course he needs to wheelsuck if he's going to even the slightest chance of winning.
Keyboard warriors who've never ridden a bike professionally before trying to pontificate on forums about the hallowed and sacred art of cycling.Recent trend of not really letting a break get anything continues. I think if they get 4-5 minutes up the road then it creates more order and stops anyone trying anything mid-stage like happened on 3, you would think this preferable to the sprinter teams but it seems not.
