I will tell you this, if there is someone dangerous in this Giro is Del Toro. He is like Pogacar in 2020. IMHO.

I can see UAE slowing him down in the high altitude mountains. Oh I forgot there are no high altitude mountains, oh well. Maybe we'll miss a great performance by del toto.
Isaac tries to do everything that Pogacar tells him to, taken instruction about time trial technique and position. Del Toro was over the moon happy to be selected, recon and training with Pogacar at Strade Bianche..last year Del Toro crashed and had hand problem immediately before gravel worlds..with his experience and form things look better this year. He's no Pidcock but an excellent mountain bike racer.
The team he is surrounded by are obviously awesome for a young guy learning the profession. Can't believe that he just got second in a grand tour.. Viva Mexico!! Viva Ensenada!!!

Roglic is such a Buffoon man he will desperately take risks to make sure he is with is team on the front 100km into a flat stage where nothing happens, but when he actually needs to respond to rivals in a slow moving small group he is miles out of position. What is he doing
Yeah, like many here say he's OLD and just not paying attention. His interview after suggested he wasn't really trying for the win so maybe he's senile, too.
He should just leave the race now, right?

Roglic is hardly a buffoon, instead he is always positive and calculating. Intelligent and controlled. Stage 8 has some challenge, but 11 is where more drama will play out. Bora learning that both Del Toro and Ayuso stayed mostly in the saddle as the rolled away for a powerful win, Del Toro standing up and smashing only to get the short sprint. Roglic still in the Rosa, despite handicap without Jai Hindley who would have certainly traded blows with Del Toro and Ayuso. Roglic rolled across sort of neutral, but he certainly didn't lose much or wasn't shown overwhelming superiority by UAE, they marked him( respected him) until just a few meters from the line. And the total Primoz is reserved, respectful, doesn't talk sh-t about himself or other riders, win or lose guy shows depth and class. Hardly a buffoon.
The stage and all that made final selection, raced excellent..
With full team chase, David Gaudu ended up with a decent 25th place, not great but better than nothing.

Jeez what a withered giro so far and it wont get better anytime soon
What a great race!! TT was silly, didn't have enough distance or elevation change to get any significant time differences, but after that Mad Mads Pedersen put on a show, feel off his bike ,got up and still found a way to win!
Pedersen put in intense training that has fans and competition surprised when he doesn't make the climbs instead of the other way around!! Guy is a monster!!
And when the race turned into a rainy mess, instead of some fluke, some surprise winner because of chaotic circumstances, no..Kaden Groves, multiple grand tour stage winner, deep talent, super fast guy!!
And today was cream rising to the top, with best riders shoulder to shoulder until the very end, sprinkle in Italian seasoning with Giulo Ciccone attacking the elite just because, It didn't work but it could have!! Brilliant, positive racing!!

Now you’ve put the thought in my head, Del Toro dropping Ayuso on Finestre to win pink would be an all-time moment

Id suppose the one thing about not leaving it go is if you want your car higher up for the Siena stage. Probably ok once your car is in the top few but can't let too many go ahead
Ahh forgot about this one. Yeah I suppose the GC teams are also thinking about having their car as far up as possible for the Siena stage. And that Siena stage is also a good stage for a breakaway rider to take pink.
