Much better than what Kittel or Cavendish could do.A 15th and a 20th in de Ronde were his only top 50 places.

Milan has ridden Sanremo the last three years. This year he did some good leadout work into the Cipressa and the Poggio, but I think winning for such a big guy with such a steep power curve is impossible.Being average in the classics this year when his overall form is like this is a big red flag for me.
But then frigging Philipsen won Sanremo
Gaviria with an absolute vintage Gaviria leadout.
Froome would've been up there in the mix today, I think he beats Ewan's 25thDid Caleb Ewan ride into a wall at some point without me hearing about it or why does his career look like he's the Chris Froom of sprinting?
6 ft at least (183 cm).I did not, how tall is she?
ya but so does every sprinter in their breakout racesMillan looks to be a future all time great in sprinting.

Jayco did exactly as Mezgec stated in his pre-race interview. Had their bubble of four with 3kms to go with Mezgec behind Ewan. The plan was for Ewan to follow Mezgec when he went BUT somehow Ewan got lost. I have no idea how this happened when there were 3 jayco riders at the front just outside of 1km to go. Hepburn, Walscheid and Mezgec are wasting their time.
As a superstar sprinter, it is. He'll probably win at least one more stageI wouldn't call this one of Milan's breakout races after the Giro he did last year.
"Milan just about loses on the Ewan throw"They really need to just put Ewan into Walscheid's pocket and launch the - in this case, literally - Pocket Rocket at the finish.

Peloton wanted him to come back so he can get the hat trick honestly.Congratulations to Jonathan Milan for a hat trick.
Peloton wanted to drop Milan in the crosswinds and to return the favour Milan dropped the peloton at the finish line.
Pog thinking: sure we may be tied in stage wins in this Giro right now, but you're gonna die so badly in the upcoming mountain stages, oh yes, yes you will. That look
Probably debating the required effort to put Milan, Merlier, and Groves OTL so he can get the points jersey too.Pog thinking: sure we may be tied in stage wins in this Giro right now, but you're gonna die so badly in the upcoming mountain stages, oh yes, yes you will.
J/K, I'm sure Pog has nothing but warm thoughts toward Milan, just like the rest of the peloton.
That train is potentially world class and being wasted on Ewan atm.Jayco did exactly as Mezgec stated in his pre-race interview. Had their bubble of four with 3kms to go with Mezgec behind Ewan. Yeah, the way he races the classics is really similar to Lotto Greipel + Kittel's TT-skills.Rather Greipel.
