Joking aside it is absolutely chucking it down, awful weather. One of those northern italian may days with genuinely torrential rain.

Giro has been incredibly lucky this year: no rain for the 2 Torino stages, nor for the 2 Garda stages... but in northern Italy it's been raining almost every day since the beginning of the month.

It was just torrential rain all day, sprinters were sprinting in their rain jackets. Some of the most rain I've seen in a GT (all of 2013 was like that tbf)
