This is where I think Pogacar isn't gonna make big attacks if the stage win isn't up for grabs.
The timing is right for big attack, he would practically seal the race and after he could ride more calmly, having Tour in mind. But I have doubts whether his team can control the break.

I really don't get UAE here. Let the gap go out one more minute and all other gc teams immediately start chasing. i guess they want to keep the gap small to give Pogi a chance at the stage win. But I genuinely think they are more likely to catch the break if they let others chase right now and have more men left to close the gap towards the end.

I mean if Bjerg and Laengen can keep riding like this, Pogi can catch the break easily but it‘s unnecessary to have your guys ride like this.

They signed up for it when pog was eyeing pink on day 1. There’s probably a deal to keep it within three and the other podium contenders would reel it in
