Liquigas chasing. For who ?

Capecchi ? Sabatini ?

Judging by their efforts all season long I have the feeling Liquigas always chase, regardless of whether they have a man for the win, or (when applicable) a GC interest to protect. Chasing down breaks is their raison d'être

Looks like it may well not stick. My inability to read a race is strong.

I'm going off the 'live' text - 16 seconds with presumably 3 or 4 km left?

8 secs with 2 km to go, seems unlikely.

But he makes it.

I don't like Pozatto but it's great to see him winning something after a season filled with disasters. Good job to him, should help him focus in the next season.

i have hust seen the on italian tv the final part of the race.
carlos betancourt wasvery impressive in the last climb to san luca.
he did not lost time to the favourites. very impressive.

he has increbible big and muscle legs, like a sprinter or a little like henao or the first cunego.
on the podium his legs looked the double of uran' s legs...

he is not very thin.
in spring at acqua e sapone were worried about him, they thought he was fat.
imho, he started the giro a little overweight., lloking better at the end.

he can easily loose 3 or 4 kgs and still improve in the mountains.
but he has a different morphology than a pure climber: he has these enormous legs, sprinter thighs: he has the power necessary for doing well in the ardennes classics
betancourt is known for not having greatest training ethtics hut he's so filled with talent. that's also why I think he can still improve so much and he is build like a tracksprinter

Pozzato couldn't follow any wheels? There you go! Nice to see him doing something I guess.

@parrulo, the reason why people hate him is firstly because of those hideous sidi ads, he is too worried about his hair and makeup all the time and because of the way he rides. ;)

I don't hate him, I just think it's hilarious he does so poorly given that he's easily one of the most talented riders out there.

yeah.

I don't believe it's the adds, people hate him a lot before that.
Anyway riders like flecha, nuyens etc all do the same in the cobbles.
