Some riders actually ended up on the wrong side of the fence. This is sad, I see the pain in their eyes. They look like they were in awesome shape.

Thanks for the info.

I expected more from Serpa, but maybe he is timing it for the Giro.

he is a helper for rujano here and in giro. I epected more from alex cano, other then that is as I expected.

Stage 3 results: Duarte 4h41-05/36,288kmh; 2. Machado; 3. Scarponi +3"; 4, Morabito; 5. Kiserlovski, 6. Pozzovivo, 7. Rujano +8"

ok i wasn't expecting such a good performance from machado.

its just his climbing style is so ugly it always looks like he is struggling XD

p.s. i think he can take the overall here :D

Will there be highlights of this on youtube later (with Rai commentary)?

Also whats the gc look like and are the next stage(s) likely to shake things up big time?

I've heard many media people say he is one of the most boring people to interview. Same with Sastre.

Another reason why "the pope" fits so well as a nickname.

the youtube footage is always the last 15 minutes of the race and not entire rai highlights which is 45 minutes

Hey Escarabajo, you don't have champagne bottles in Colombia? :D

Actually I'm warming to him. He looks kind of awkward on the podium, like he isn't sure about the protocol, and then can't manage to get the damn bottle opened. That's exactly why I never became a pro. I'm just like him.
LOL. They drink beer and Aguardiente. Maybe they take the champagne home.:D

seen the highlights on utalian tv.
great ride by duarte, who responded very well at 33 attacks by scarponi and never left the wheel of michele.
when machado attacked he waited michele to chase , then followed very well.
the same when pozzovivo attacked-.fabio this time had good tactics too, not only good legs.

scarponi looked very strong, and also machado was surprising.

ruyano is testing himself and i appreciated a lot that he did not give up when he was caught and left. he was able to come back.
he shows good mind attitude and good motivation . that is very good because he has enormous skills , but a tendency to waist them. this year he is back in the right mood.

quite deceiving all the other colombians, especially alex ardila cano.
also betancur fareway from good shape.
tim roe performed better than him and ejissen
