Nice by Frank!:D He deserves the leaders jersey, he performed better than I would have expected. I would like to see how he would go on the hard climbs.
Cunego looks good too!
Even BMC riders and de maar are climbing better than Rujano:eek:
Really? Did you not watch the Tour de Suisse last year and listen to ACF?

Frank reminds me of Thomas Frei (BMC) in 2010 in Trentino.

Frei 1985 born, Frank 1986, both Swiss, both BMC.

Let´s hope history won´t repeat.

Frei didn't show a hell of a lot at Trentino that year and Frank has shown some potential in last years Tour de Suisse.

Congrats to Cunego. Betancur did well and so did Kreuziger.

I hope Kreuziger can podium.
Pozzovivo screwed up all his teams hard work from the TTT.

Tour de Suisse 2012, overall:

1. [USA] LEIPHEIMER Levi RSH 31h45'02" 240
2. [ITA] CUNEGO Damiano LAM 04" 180
3. [NED] KRUIJSWIJK Steven RAB 01'02" 145
4. [DEN] FUGLSANG Jakob LEO 01'10" 132
5. [NED] MOLLEMA Bauke RAB 02'05" 120
6. [SUI] FRANK Mathias BMC 02'24" 108

;)

But Frank was indeed impressive, not so much in the TT but in the Liechtenstein stage, where he crashed at the bottom of the climb, and came from way back to pass almost everyone and finish 7th. He doesn't seem to hold top form very long though, he was nowhere the rest of the year.

frank is very inconsistent but when he's good,he really does well.let's see what he can do today

di luca had a flat tire on the descent yesterday.pretty much an armstrong like comeback, remembers me of his very true quote:
"Some times you're the hammer and sometimes you're the nail. Today I was the nail, but I had plenty of days where I was the hammer."

still acqua e sapone has betancur and reda in good position.today they can impress on this freaking beast:

Edit: but the roads are very narrow

Edit 2: and after having a second look at google maps, due to the narrow roads and bad sight the descent is far more difficult than I expected from looking at the map

@ACF: silly boy. Why do you think I have Frank in my CQ team on another site? It's just funny to see him as classification leader in a race like trentino with so many big names. Besides, funny you come with that result when you know the end of that Tour :D

if it's raining it will be a hell i guess on such steep ramps.the mechanics have a terrible hard job today with the gears, let's see how many of the riders will complain

acqua e sapone is using 34x28...6 km @15% pfff....

First break: Montaguti (A2R), Felline (And), Barta (Net), Vila (Utn), Frapporti (Ide). 1.43 at km 20

gotta say after i heard a felline interview, the way he talks made me a fan.

cloudy but it doesn't rain for now.

it doesn't rain.

another interesting fact, punta veleno is a real biitch

so that 6 km ramp is harder than that of angliru, mortirolo and even zoncolan....sweet god.

Didn't he change his name though? Oh wait, that was his last name. Originally it was Pile of Sh.t.
