Nibali was putting accelerations in and Wiggo gradually bought him back with tempo really.

I'm not sure if Wiggins is already very good, or Nibali wasn't good enough today.
Anyway, Wiggo had no problems at all with Nibali's accelerations (which, to be honest, weren't long lasting and overly explosive).

Nibali looked stronger,no way Wiggo could of attacked.Problem for Nibali is you need to be a decent amount better too make attacks work against a tempo rider as its more efficient.And Nibali not "that" much stronger and dont think will be in Giro either.

I doubt Wiggins will be willing to take that kind of risk when he can simply sit on Nibali's wheel the whole Giro and then win time in the TTs

Nibali looks good, but he'll never drop Wiggins with 10 second attacks I'm afraid.

Anyway, great win for Siutsou - always liked him.

Nibali put in little attacks but Wiggo brought him back. Wiggo looked in trouble but may bave been bluffing because of Suitsou

Nibali need a lot more on the climbs to take time from Wiggo who will gain lots of time in the TT's

Actually that'll be an interesting giro matchup. Basso's deterioration started abit before evans', so i'd expect cadel to finish higher up. Top 15 for them i'd imagine?

Evans wasn't that bad, not worse than in the Dauphiné before the Tour he won. So that's promising.
