Seriously now, as I suppose the DSs at Trek are not actually tactically worse than me, they must have had a plan - but what was it? What was their intention?
Guess Nibali has the better standing, so they will ride for him - no matter what. Still, they should have known that he is not going to outsprint the competition on a finish like that.

Ulissi is actually in good shape, a podium here and an 8th place in Lombardia. He could do really well at the Italian NC, but that one will be 250km long...

"Cenzo I don't have the legs to win man, I'm riding for you"

Nibali to himself: "Say nothing man, just attack bottom of climb and have excuse ready. Today I shall not be afraid to lose"

Yes, I've been wondering why they sent Almeida, but then I thought he's probably the better descender and they thought he had a better chance of staying away there?
Bagioli had just attacked on San Luca. He sure didn't have the legs to try again a minute after the group bridged back to him.

Cattaneo (DQS) crashed yesterday while attacking on a downhill section and will be out for 6 to 8 weeks.

I wouldn't want to be a DQS rider scheduled for the Giro right now, it seems like they are all crashing out (Jakobsen, Evenepoel, Cattaneo).

DQS have had their share of bad luck with Lampaert (probably scheduled for the Tour before his crash) out as well.

I have to praise Dunbar, the guy is really professional, always supports the team leader and always seems to perform well when he gets the chance to ride for himself.
I think he needs to leave Ineos; he's too good to be so far down the pecking order. Of course, he still has two years left on his contract and by then he could far stronger and given much more chances. Maybe I just really want him to leave Ineos.
