The 3rd of 4 laps over San Luca, 9km to go, Fuglsang and Hoogerland only a few hundred metres ahead of main field!

EDIT: DAOTEC, I am a cycling newsbreaker, not a thread maker!:D

Congrats Gesink. Scarponi and Visconti were my tips when I looked at the start list. Nice to see one of them at least got a decent placing.

Good ride by Dan Martin too.

Why? Are we such smug celebrators?

As I recall there wasn't much smugness going around when Gesink won Montreal. Just polite happiness.

Damn i missed this. Luckily there was no live stream so my regret factor will be down.

Liege bastogne Liege winner 2011. You heard it here first.

As i recall you wernt there for failing to take my advice;). So we have a correlation between "presence of Moondance" and "annoyingness of Dutchies":p

+ Dekker T was PEN1 on the forums for his Nibali "predictions" and was being attacked from all fronts.

With such lack of leadership, the Organizatsiya was weakened at that most crucial of moments.

Well... That puts me in my place.

So much for earlier praising of Dutch sobriety.

This post seems like an anachronism. What "put you in your place"? Gesink won, enjoy it.

I feel like reviving that silly "Robert Gesink is soft" thread from a few months back and gloating over the OP.

As good a time as any to do just that.

Why you gots to break my balls, paesano? I was doing a stint in the joint for the 'Famiglia' at the time.

It didn't stop me from observing though.
