So the chase will be lead by Liquigas and Androni right? Saxo Bank and Lampre each have a man in the break. Or should I say SHOULD be led by Liquigas and Androni.

I personally think that Liquigas won't but Androni will if the break looks to really threaten Rujano's GC position.

I remember a certain break last year when Liquigas didn't chase because they had two riders in the break, I don't think anyone will make that mistake again ;)

On a bit of a side-note, I was just looking through the results from yesterday, and browsing through the 1001 classifications the Giro has. And then my eye fell on this:

Fair play classification

1 Liquigas-Cannondale
2 Androni Giocattoli
3 HTC-Highroad
[...]
19 Euskaltel-Euskadi 120
20 Acqua & Sapone 145
21 Omega Pharma-Lotto 170
22 Saxo Bank Sungard 1143

Anyone know what have Saxo done, which is so blatantly unfair, that they've got more 'unfairness' points than all other teams combined, multiplied by two?

Their mechanic cardoored a fan that was trying to give Contador a punch yesterday

Go to the general news thread but in short deliberately hit a fan with a car door.

AC didn't attend an interview when in pink, probably some riders didn't sign on and some were most likely fined for some reason. There is most likely a valid reason behind it.

No Geox in the break from what i can see? They may be interested in stopping the break getting too far ahead. Menchov has been doing ok and will hope to gain a few places in the final TT. Should take time out of Siutsou in both the Sestriere and final TT though.

Wonder if Hernandez is working in the break, I expect not
I think he would do a little bit, his even share. It's a good opportuntity and tatic by saxo to rest the team for the upcoming stages.

Too many riders that can pass Kruiswijk in the GC. Rabobank pull them back in please... :)

Ok it's not about a top10 in the GC, but I just want the guy to have a nice classification.

Sivtsov is already ahead of him, Dupont can pass him, and Le Mevel will only get past if the break end up with a l'Aquila style advantage.

Kruijswijk should've been in this break, working for himself. I don't know whether he wanted a day of relative rest, but if he had Top-10 ambitions he should've reacted to this.

Also, Rabobank is one of the few teams with noone in the break. A little weird, since they've been pretty good about getting men up the front in this Giro.

Dont think Kreuziger would let Kruijswijk get away as the white jersey comp is fairly close.

Siutsou is ahead of Kruijswijk at the moment but going by the last stage then K would get ahead on the final mountain climb. Then its down to TT.

7:30 now. Leakys will probably wait for Tonale or Geox, Androids etc to start riding first anyway.

Indeed, as Frosty points out, Kruijswijk would have never been allowed in the break by Kreuziger/Astana...

It's sad because he'll probably can forget about top 12 now. Unless Rabobank starts to work, because none of his teammates made the break as well
