Kiriyenka might have just put out the performance of the Giro. I was thinking Nieve on 15 followed by Contador on 16, but Kiriyenka is putting out huge time on the best climbers in the world, after spending the whole day in the break.

He would have won this stage even if he had been in the pack.

I still gotta give it to Nieve, cause the favorites have certainly been holding back some today. Still a great performance and a deserved win.

is it me or does contador not look as comfortable as before, why would he be at the back of the group he never does that.

He has no reason to be at the front, the Giro's done for him. Just coast to the victory.

Contador is spinning a tiny gear. I wonder if he's cooked or just saving his legs for tomorrow.

Imo he looks perfectly comfortable and is practically resting before taking the win in tomorrow's stage again.

Well, yes, but that wasn't what I was talking about. And he isn't a proper example of a young generation rider :). Sure, Duque is different, you are right. Forero has the potential to be a far better sprinter than him, on the other hand.
