I think part of it is that TCS is defending pink, which drains their energy. Astana doesn't have that obligation and can "save" energy

Again very poor from Astana and again Aru is obviously not Nibaly. They were 4 against Contador (not 3) and a three hundred meters from the chasing group but they didn't set any tempo.

Very strong Astana had so many opportunities to create problems to Contador but Aru is not the man. He can only climb and not even that is at Contador level.

Aru was already the weakest of the 3 last wednesday, wasn't gonna close the gap on Contador if porte wasn't there.

I don't remember Porte showing any sign of strenght above the other two. He was always wheelsucking while Aru and Contador attacked each other. So...

Watch that stage again then cause aru wasn't gonna close the gap alone on Contador.

Maybe I've lost that part. We'll see from Sunday when the Alps begin, there won't be any more bluffing there.

That situation is clearly overrated. Rasmussen hang on for death on Peyresourde during Contador's attacks and still he was the one to drop the Spaniard on Aubisque!

Aru attacked on and on last week. He certainly has problems this week. That's pretty clear to see the last two days!

Let's wait and see how much his sprint is harmed. It was still fine last weekend!

Aru seems weak. Time to unleash Landa
