Contador looks more than fine.

Just my observation and I'm sure his fans will be able to tell more but it looked to me like he was grimacing quite a lot, maybe starting to feel lots of pain after 240k's in the saddle.
grrrr, I hope you are not right this time :(

Damn. You guys must really sit with a microscope to prove these thesis.

Tinkoff Saxo seems to be drilling it. Must be because Alberto is in a state of near death

obviously, you are new to cycling because even a half-blind first time viewer could tell alberto is NOT in a state near death.

he is "critical, but stable."

Amazing how quick a dislocated shoulder heals for a pro cyclist.

No it's not. A dislocated shoulder 9 out of 10 times can just be popped back without any problems. It's only when you have bad luck and also also tear a ligament or something that dislocated joints are anything serious.......

Whoever is in charge of the camera work has watched too much Roland Garros, they're overdoing it on the super slomo's
They're training for Nadal's 4500/m ball rotation :D

Touché. :D

I hope someone is there at the finish who can catch him after he steps down from the bike because he might shatters into thousands of pieces.

I know, I know, hence the smile, it just seems odd.

It is odd that the threshold is greater than 1,000 posts.

Looking at the status of various members, it appears that the "Senior Member" threshold is 2000 posts. Given that I have made fewer than 800 posts in nearly five years of being a fairly regular visitor to these forums, I guess I will become a Senior Member in about 2022.

I recall a quirk in the old cn system where brand new members were given the titles of "Editor in Chief". Very odd.
