Rojas and Tjallingii sharing jokes in the peloton. Ludvigsson and Zoidl just standing there looking like zombies. Oh the GT's... :D

I'm rather surprised that Astana didn't make the race harder from the start.

Horrible tactics by Astana right now. Playing into Orica's hands

i dont think they have that many guys to play with, kangert is in break and earlier there was only scarponi and fuglsang with nibali...others caught up after the break was established

Cunego going to lose his jersey today. That really sucks

He pretty much said in all his interviews that he did not have the form to win the mountains jersey. When a rider says, "I don't think I can win," usually they are telling the truth.

But it would have been a nice end to his career.

Actually a breakaway with a huge gap could be in favor of Nibali. Atapuma will fight for the stage victory and perhaps top10 for himself up the road forgetting about his fellowman, while Kangert can save some energy on Bonette not going into red yet to still be ahead of Chav/Nibs group.

The weather in this Giro has been great. I don't think I remember such a dry, warm Giro.

Didn't anyone tell them that's it's actually tomorrow's stage that should be taken easy?

I hope Nieve gets the KOM jersey. Nobody should win it by taking points on intermediate stages, it should reward the long raids in the very high mountains.

Most definitely. Nieve is a very, very good winner. Master of the big mountain stages.

Yep, he is way underrated. The marathon one he won several years ago in the Giro in torrential rain was the definition of epic racing. For sure my favorite Sky rider and always saves their a**.
