Is that the Augustyn bend? It seemed like it...

They were going in reverse in that TDF (Cuneo to Jausiers) and it had to be one of the ones nearest to the top. So yeah. Though I do believe they went around the road to the Cime de la Bonnette that time around. Could be around that area instead.

EDIT: Yeah, I checked it out, looks to me like it's on the Cime loop, so they didn't go past it.

Yeah I think they went around the top that day, it was a spectacular crash. I wonder if the bike is still down that valley :D

So Majka wants to race on the 2nd to last climb of the Giro? At this rate he might attack somewhere next week...

Kruijswijk doesn't look so bad, hopefully he can keep his podium at least.

In my experience, the second day after a crash is worse than the first. So lucky for him it's just a flat stage left after this.

Not even Lombarde yet and people are already complaining :D
It's a mistake not to set a fast pace before the final climb. Nibali managed to put time on Chaves yesterday in an agonizing effort over, dunno, like 500 km. He should try to recreate similar conditions today, if he can, even though he shouldn't move necessarily before Lombarde.
